7. 15 reviews of Oasis Bar Tapas & Lounge "The oddly named Oasis Bar Tapas Lounge ended up being our gay bar of choice while staying in Condado since it was a block away from our hotel. There are no tapas and it's not very loungy. We went every night, sometimes twice! It's a small dive and surprisingly never crowded which was weird since it's the only "advertised" gay bar within the Condado Beach.

9. History. The band originally formed in Puerto Rico as a progressive rock combo, in , under the name Whisker Biscuit. In , the band added vocalist Sergio Curbelo and moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where they created a mix of salsa and heavy metal with the assistance of Jeff Renza and the Noiz Boiz production studio. They adopted the name Puya in , which is Spanish for sharp.
